Hamilton, ON
The Radio Arts address celebrates the history of a former radio station, known in the early 1960s as the Radio Arts Building , its namesake. Today, it offers new opportunities to be part of Hamilton’s re-energized downtown community.
While Radio Arts looks firmly toward the future, its design remains connected to the site’s past. The podium was conceived in the spirit of the original building, reinterpreting architectural details and materials that echo the character and history of the address.
Radio Arts was conceived for those seeking greater convenience and flexibility in their daily lives. As more people looked beyond Toronto for attainable city living, the project responded with a thoughtful suite mix, transit-oriented location, and amenities designed around how residents actually live, work, and connect.
The identity nods to a bygone era, while a compelling strategy, visual language, and narrative converge to resonate with the lifestyle of Radio Arts’ core audiences.
In collaboration with Canlight, KNYMH Architects, and Baudit Interior Design, our goal was to create a resident experience that added meaningful value to everyday life.
From a coworking lounge, fitness studio, and rooftop social spaces to smart access systems, parcel management, and integrated building technology, every element was considered to enhance convenience while fostering a stronger sense of community.
