Funktional defined, designed and crafted the story for a new development built in the spirit of a special era in downtown Hamilton. Radio Arts’ address celebrates the history of a former radio station, known in the late 50’s/early 60’s as the Radio Arts building, its namesake. Today it provides new opportunities to be part of Hamilton’s burgeoning downtown community.
At 14-storeys, 122 suites, it’s an intimate condominium conceptualized by KNYMH Architects that has been designed in the spirit of the past while rising up for a beautiful second act.
The brand nods to the Radio Arts’ era with an iconic 60’s vibe paired with a current, modern design which perfectly reflects the building with its brick and beam podium inspired by the original 1908 architecture, while rising above is a black and white tower of glass and artful staggered terraces, balconies and Juliets adding a modern contrast to the masonry.
